Telangana, and particularly Hyderabad, holds strategic significance for Apollo 24|7’s expansion journey. With over 900 Apollo Pharmacy stores in the state of which 500 are in Hyderabad, the dense retail footprint ensures that most residents live within 1–2 km distance of an Apollo pharmacy enabling safe and timely access to genuine medicines. Apollo 24|7, the online platform currently fulfils over 4.5 million pharmacy orders monthly across digital and physical channels. Hyderabad has evolved as the top-performing market with 17% pharmacy share in India for the company.

Apollo 24|7 also announced strong traction following the launch of its 19-minute medicine delivery service, a first-of-its-kind quick commerce initiative in Indian healthcare. Since its introduction across select Hyderabad pin codes, the platform has successfully fulfilled nearly 80,000 orders within the 19-minute window. As part of its mission to make quality healthcare not just accessible but also affordable, Apollo 24|7 Insurance services (a fully owned subsidiary of Apollo HealthCo) has secured regulatory approval to operate as a corporate agent and will soon begin distributing Health, Life, and General Insurance products on its platform for its customers. The platform aims to offer customers of Apollo HealthCo, customized insurance solutions truly aligned to their health and life needs. With deep investments in AI and access to rich health data across customer journeys, Apollo 24|7 insurance service is uniquely positioned to help individuals and families choose plans that are comprehensive and relevant.

The company has already completed a successful pilot and plans to launch insurance products from 12 insurers within the next two months. All plans will be bundled with exclusive Apollo benefits, with a strong focus on distributing OPD coverage in future. The company targets ₹80 crore in revenue in the first year of operations.

To address the challenge of payment friction in healthcare, Apollo 24|7 announced the upcoming launch of India’s first health-first credit card designed to simplify payments and reduce healthcare costs for its millions of customers.

Developed in collaboration with one of India’s leading credit card issuers, the card will offer exclusive benefits from medicines and diagnostics to doctor consultations and wellness services. Deeply integrated with Apollo 24|7, it will simplify the way customers pay for healthcare and reward them with unique benefits across the continuum of care within the Apollo ecosystem. Targeting Apollo HealthCo’s 150 million strong user base, the card is expected to launch within the next fortnight.
